I have been looking to get Wii Fit for my wife since the beginning of December as a Christmas present. Finding one online at a reasonable price was very hard. I don’t like to pay retail as it is, so paying a premium to get one online was just out of the question.

I found that Amazon.com had the best deal on Wii Fit but every time I went to buy it they were out of stock.

I finally got one today from Wal-Mart and I did pay retail but after this many weeks of searching I was glad to do it.

The Wal-mart stores are actually the best stores find the wii fit consoles. After talking to the manager, he told me that Wal-mart gets regular weekly shipments from Nintendo. They are sometimes given priority when the supply of the Wii systems and Wii fit boards is limited.

Apparently Retailers like Pharmacy’s and Major Grocery Stores that sell Nintendo products in their small electronic sections are only given them if and when supply reaches a certain level. That is why you will see them on sale in the flyers from time to time and are not carried as a regular item.

The best time to check Wal-mart for a Wii Fit is Monday or Tuesday. That is when Nintendo is scheduled to make their deliveries (in my area anyway, most likely yours too). You will have a hard time finding them on the shelve before 11am so checking on your lunch break is a good idea.

I’ve had Mario Kart for the Wii since christmas and I love it. It is a great game for the kids and adults a like. Many different challenging levels and courses, plus using the Wii wheel makes everything a little bit harder.

I have been looking online for a second game for my sister and some of the pricing is crazy. Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel on ebay is being auctioned for $50-$70 plus shipping. That is comparable to retail store prices.

At amazon.com you this is available for $49.99 including the free super saver shipping. That is one of the lowest prices for a new sealed bundle inculding the game and wii wheel that I have found so far.
