I am an avid book reader and have only paid the full retail price on a handful of books. Besides Amazon.com I like to shop at Chapters.Indigo.ca for some really good online deals.

They have a bargain section that lists their top 50 bargains on recent bestsellers and other pretty good titles. Although some of the titles in there aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on. You can still find some great deals.

They have books for up to 90% off and selling for as little as $3.99 (Canadian or .50cents American, lol )

One of their online bestsellers is James Pattersons - Step on a Crack which they are offering for 71% on the cover price. I bought this book last year for my dad for just under $20 so at $9.99 it’s a great deal.
